Nazia Elahi Khan Says She Will Formally Embrace Sanatan Dharma in 2027
BJP leader and Supreme Court lawyer Nazia Elahi Khan says she will formally embrace Sanatan Dharma in 2027. Her Bhojshala visit, Hanuman Chalisa recitation and remarks about Hindu temples have drawn attention.
Khan said that when she fully embraces Sanatan Dharma in 2027, she would ensure that the entire universe learns about the decision. She described the occasion as a celebration of her life and said she would organise all the necessary rituals. She added that she would enter the Hindu eternal faith in accordance with established customs and religious procedures.
Khan recently visited the Bhojshala complex in Indore, where she offered prayers and met Gopal Sharma. Speaking to the media during the visit, she said she had taken darshan at the site, participated in the aarti and recited the Hanuman Chalisa.
Describing Bhojshala as a highly sacred place, Khan said it had been recovered after considerable effort. During the interaction, she also praised Gopal Sharma for his role in the efforts concerning Bhojshala.
Khan said Sharma had sacrificed his life for the cause and continued to stand up for Bhojshala. She added that Hindus needed warriors like him. She further said that if there were four temples or four lakh Hindu temples to be reclaimed, they would pursue their recovery through legal means.
Khan's latest remarks follow her recent visit to Ramghat in Madhya Pradesh, where she performed Shraddha rituals during Pitru Paksha. At the time, she had also claimed that she would soon return to Sanatan Dharma.
